John Dalton’s model of the atom was the first model of the atom that was proposed. John Dalton discovered the atom which he said composed matter, which is basically anything and everything. He proposed that all matter is composed of atoms which are small and indivisible particles. His model which may be true, is too general and soon were extended by other scientists.
