The first great awakening or the great awakening was a christian revitalization movement that spread throughout protestant Europe and British America, and specially the american colonies in the 1730´s and 1740´s and gave listeners a sense of personal revelation of their need for salvation through Jesus Christ, becoming them into a new norm of personal morality. In conclusion, this movement become the people more educated.
