What do you suppose the world would be like if there were cures for all infectious diseases and a means to destroy all microbes?

The world would be overpopulated. The overpopulation would ultimately take it's toll on the planet in a tragic way. Without natural infectious diseases, natural selection would not be allowed to take it's place.
