A) f(17)=49, h(49)=(49)^3/2=√(7^6)=7³=343
B) h(x)=x^(3/2), g(x^(3/2))=[x^(3/2)]^6+2=x^9+2
C) to find the inverse of f(x), switch x and y, which is f(x),  and solve for the new y:
           x=3y-2
           y=(1/3)x+(2/3), so f-(x)=(1/3)x+(2/3)
D) x=y^6+2, y=(x-2)^(1/6) So g-(x)=(x-2)^(1/6)
E) x=y^(3/2), y=x^(2/3), h-(x)=x^(2/3). It is not a function because x can be opposites when h-(x) is the same number. For example, 8^(2/3)=∛8²=4, (-8)^(2/3)=∛(-8²)=4
