Role of parties: 
Determining which candidates that would be assigned for the presidential election. (popularity and principle alignment played a huge factor into this process)

Role of money:
Helping the candidates to obtain more votes through road campaigns and advertising.

Roles of media:
Help to direct public's opinion toward a certain candidate by depicting their story in a certain point of view
