Harriet Tubman was probably the most famous "conductor" on the underground railroad.

Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist and humanitarian. During the American Civil War, Harriet was an armed scout and a spy.
She made 13 mission in which she managed to save around 17 enslaved people, family and friends using her network of antislavery activists and safe houses which she called the "underground railroad".
