Start by creating equations with the information provided
1) x+y=25
2) 2x=3y
Multiply the 1st equation by 2 then substitute 2x for 3y
1) 2x+2y=50
    3y+2y=50
    5y=50
    y=10
Substitute y for 10 in the original equation
1)x+y=25
   x+10=25
   x=15

Answer: 10 and 15
