A bag contains 20 red, 40 blue and 15 yellow balls. Find the percentage of blue balls and percentage of balls which are not red. ​

Answer

balls = 20 + 40 + 15

= 75

percentage = (40 / 75) x 100% (blue balls)

= 53.33%

= 40 + 15 (not red balls)

= 55

= (55 / 75) x 100% (not red balls)

= 73.33%

percentage of blue balls = 53.33%

percentage of balls that are not red = 73.33%
