Correlation is the scientific process by which scientist identify the relationship between two variable using statistical measurements. Data are usually analysed in order to find the correlation between two variables.
Hypothesis always precede experimentation. When a scientist observe a phenomenon for which he does not have an answer, he will formulate an hypothesis about the observation and carry out an experiment to confirm its hypothesis.
