Absolute value of the integers is the distance between zero and the number when represented on the number line. Absolute value is always positive, no matter the integer is negative or positive.
131 and -131 are two integers with place value 131.
Because if we see the distance between 0 and 131, the place value is 131 and similarly the distance between 0 and -131 is also 131.
