 So we're solving the equation in the question for y.
First, we subtract 6x from both sides to get

2y<-46-6x. Then we divide both sides by 2 to get y alone.
Then the answer will be y<-46÷2 -6x÷2
 FInal answer = y< -23-3x or y<-3x-23
