Find an equation in slope-intercept form for the perpendicular bisector of the segment with endpoints H(–3, 2) and K(7, –5).

y=7/10x+(-4)
The slope of HK is -10/7, so a perpendicular slope is 7/10
The y intercept of a line with m=7/10 going through the midpoint of HK has a y intercept of -4, therefore: y=7/10x+(-4)
