Hail is basically chunks of ice falling out of the sky. Hail can damage cars and houses. At the speed that some hail falls at, if a piece hits your head too hard, you could get a concussion or worse.

actually, hail are solid and they a free falling so, they are having acceleration of 9.8 m/sec^2 ..   which is surely harmful for crops and also cause injury to human, property and animals..
