Kidneys filter the extra water and toxic materials in your blood (circulatory system). The help maintain homeostasis by keeping the level of toxic materials down in yourbody. The filtered materials are sent, with the extra water, to your bladder , where it is known as urine/ pee.

One example is Alcohol. When a human male or female drink alcohol, the kidney, and liver, will work together to get out the toxins. :)
