Given:

[tex]y+3=\frac{2}{5}(x+5)[/tex]

The standard form of the linear equation is,

[tex]Ax+By=C[/tex]

Simplify the given equation,

[tex]\begin{gathered} y+3=\frac{2}{5}(x+5) \\ 5(y+3)=2(x+5) \\ 5y+15=2x+10 \\ 2x-5y=15-10 \\ 2x-5y=5 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Answer: Standard form is 2x - 5y = 5
