We are given the following polynomials:

[tex]3x^4,6x^2[/tex]

To multiply these polynomials we will multiply the coefficients and we will add the exponents, like this:

[tex](3x^4)(6x^2)=18x^{4+2}=18x^6[/tex]

This expression can't be simplified any further. since it's one term this is a monomial
