If we kick both sodas with the same force, the soda that has a higher weight will have a lower acceleration. This is explained by Newton's second law of motion

The second law states that the acceleration of an object is dependent upon two variables - the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object.

m = mass

a = accelaration

F = Force
