when they ask for the rate of change they ask for slope -->>

Using [tex] \frac{ y_{1} - y_{2} }{ x_{1} - x_{2} } [/tex] to find the rate of change for (-3,0) and (-2,-5)

[tex] \frac{0--5}{-3--2} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{0+5}{-3+2} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{5}{-1} [/tex]

m=-5
