-- The factors of  32  are  1,  2,  4,  8,  16, and  32 .
-- The factors of  56  are  1,  2,  4,  7,  8,  14,  28, and  56 .
-- The common factors of  32  and  56  are  1,  2,  4, and  8 .
-- The greatest one is  8 .

                   32 = 8 x 4
                   56 = 8 x 7

        (32 + 56) = (8 x 4) + (8 x 7).

       (32 + 56)  =  8 (4 + 7)
