Now lets do the bigger rectangle, we see that the width is 15 and that half of the lenght is 18. So with this information the area equation would be 15x(18+18)= 15x36= 540in^2.

Now that we have both the two smaller squares and the bigger rectangle we just have to add them together.

540+162=702in^2 would be the answer
