a rectangular field is divided into 2 squares of the same size and shape. if it takes 294 yards of fencing to enclose the field and divide the field into the two parcels, find the dimensions of the field.

294 = 7x

42 = X

The height is x and the width is 2x

so

42 by 2(42)

42 by 84
