“Stench” is the most negative.

Aroma, scent, and fragrance all have the same meaning; a distinctive, typically pleasant smell.
Stench

When you hear the word stench your brain automatically thinks of a gross smell. When you hear the other ones it’s either neutral or pleasant. Hope this helps
