y = 2/3x + 8...multiply by 3
3y = 2x + 24...subtract 24 from both sides
3y - 24 = 2x....divide both sides by 2
(3y - 24)/2 = x OR 3/2y - 12 = x
X=3(y-8)/2 switch sides
