help me guys 64−(3y+8y+y)÷40=37

Answer: -118

Step-by-step explanation:

first multiply by 40. 37x 40 is 1480. No subtract 64 from both sides (1416). Multiply both sides by negative one to make the parentheses positive. -(1416)

on the inside that would be 12y so divide -1416 by 12 which is -118
