How many neutrons does element X have if its atomic number is 41 and its mass number is 162?

        (Mass #) = (Atomic #) + (Neutron #)
: . (Neutron #) = (Mass #) - (Atomic #)
                       = 162 - 41
                       = 121

Note that: Atomic # = Amount of Protons = Amount of Electrons
