Capitalism/Mixed. The Soviet Union at the end of the Cold War was essentially bankrupt, and therefore could no longer function, causing revolts within the satellite states it had control over. Because of those revolts, the satellite states of the Soviet Union began to gain their independence (Poland being the first) and caused the break up of the Soviet Union.
