America was formed with British colonist in America rose up against the British ruling over them because of their unfair laws, heavy taxes, and discrimination. This sparked the American Revolution that was a very violent, bloody war, but it ended in America's Independence. From there, America began to form its own government that was different from the British government they had previously been under.
