30min=30/60hr=0.5hr

velocity=distance/time=10mile/0.5hr=20 miles per hour East

There are 60 minutes in an hour so 30 minutes is 0.5 hour.

Velocity is equal to displacement / time

= 10 miles East / 0.5 hour

= 20 miles per hour East
