Explain the popular saying "We are made of stardust. how are we made of stardust? use scientific vocab.

Carl Sagan says this because when a star explodes different elements are formed and these include  hydrogen and helium. Which can be built into carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen that is made up of our bodies.
