First you had to switch sides of equation.

[tex]2(i+w)=p[/tex]

Then you divide by two from both sides of equation form.

[tex]\frac{2(i+w)}{2}= \frac{p}{2}[/tex]

Simplify.

[tex]i+w=\frac{p}{2}[/tex]

Next, subtract by i from both sides of equation form.

[tex]i+w-i=\frac{p}{2}-i[/tex]

Finally, simplify by equation.

[tex]w=\frac{p}{2}-i[/tex]

Final answer: [tex]\boxed{w=p/2-i}[/tex]

Hope this helps!
