Slope of the line passes through two points

Given points are (1 , -1) and (6 , 5)

To find slope of line using two points we use a formula

[tex]slope = \frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

(1 , -1) is (x1 , y1) and (x2 , y2) is (6 , 5)

Plug in the values in the formula

[tex]slope = \frac{5 - (-1)}{6 - 1}[/tex]

[tex]slope = \frac{6}{5}[/tex]
