Add 5x to both sides:

[tex] 7x-3>11 [/tex]

Add 3 to both sides:

[tex] 7x > 14 [/tex]

Divide boh sides by 7. Since 7 is positive, you don't have to switch the inequality sign:

[tex] x > \dfrac{14}{7} \iff x > 2 [/tex]

So, every number greater than 2 is a solution to this inequality
