find out the value of x
to proof -
as we have given∠ FGE = 5x + 10
& FC is perpendicular to AE.
now by using the diagram as shown in below.
∠FGE +∠ FGA = 180 °
(By linear pair property)
as∠ FGE = 5x+10
than also∠ FGA = 5x+ 10
now put these values in the above equation
we get
5x+ 10 + 5x +10 =180°
10x = 160
x = 16°
hence the value of FGE becomes
FGE = 5×16 + 10
= 90 °
HENCE PROVED
