Points (-8,22) and (3,0)
We start with this equation:
y = mx + b
where m = slope

Y2 = 0
Y1=22

X2 = 3
X1 = -8

Slope = (Y2 -Y1) ÷ (X2 -X1)
Slope = (0 -22) ÷ (3 - -8)
Slope = -22 / 11
Slope = -2
We input the slope into
y = mx + band we gety = -2x +b
Inputting one of the points (-8, 22) into the equation:
22 = -2*-8 +bb= 6
y = -2x +6
