We have 2 points , so we can find a slope
m=( y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1)
m = (-3 - 0)/ (0- (-15/2)) = -3/(15/2) = (-3 *2)/15 =
-2/5
y =(-2/5)x + b
b is a y value of y-intercept point, so b= -3
y = (-2/5)x - 3
The answer is A.
y = (-2/5)x - 3

Hey!
Below this answer I have attached five images. The first image represents the x-intercept given and the y-intercept given.
The second image represents the first equation graphed.
The third image represents the second equation graphed.
The fourth image represents the third equation graphed.
The fifth image represents the fourth equation graphed.
The only graph that matched with the x-intercept and the y-intercept is image two.
So, this means that the answer is the equation
[tex]y=- \frac{2}{5} x-3[/tex]
Hope this helps!
