- has the base: Thymine, Cytosine, Guanine, and Adenine 
- double stranded 
- sugar = Deoxyribose 

Rna 
- Sugar = Ribose 
- single stranded 
- has the bases: Cytosine, Guanine, Adenine, and Uracil.
