What was the result of FDR's court-packing scheme?

It ended in failure.  It was clear FDR wanted to fill the Supreme Court with judges who would support his New Deal Programs but many saw it as infringing on the judiciary and believed it to be unconstitutional.  Not only did fail but it affect his New Deal Plan as well as put him at odds with members of his own party.
